Shopping

Forgot your toothbrush? Need a couture gown? No problem.
Shopping options in the ATL Airport District range from hip independent boutiques in historic downtown College Park to familiar favorites like Target, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls at the area’s sprawling Camp Creek Marketplace. And with 230,000 square feet of shopping space inside Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, you might want to head out a little early for your flight. Like...maybe a whole day early. (We’re mostly kidding around, but the ATL SkyTrain makes it easy to pop by the airport even when you’re not boarding a plane, so don’t rule out a relaxed visit to Mont Blanc or L’Occitane.)
When you’re in the mood to explore, a quick drive or MARTA ride can get you just about anywhere in Metro Atlanta in a jiff. At your disposal is a world of quirky independent boutiques (downtown Decatur is full of them!), of-the-moment mixed-use marketplaces (think Ponce City Market or Krog Street Market), an open-air mall where shops and fresh air abounds (Atlantic Station), and of course Buckhead’s upscale malls (Lenox Mall and Phipps Plaza). It’s all here waiting for you, whether you’re in the mood to buy or browse. Let your pockets be your guide!
