Family Friendly
Experience the District through their eyes.
Traveling with kids is a wonderful experience—as long as you are doing things that interest them at all times.
Luckily, that’s easy to do in the ATL Airport District! We’ve got activities to entertain kids and adults of all ages. Pause for a pic with a fun mural or two along the way as you get hands-on with aeronautic history at the Delta Flight Museum, virtually meet a cow and learn about the Dwarf's House roots in the District at the Chick-fil-A Backstage Tour, catch a basketball game at Gateway Center Arena, and hit free outdoor attractions like the Master Park Playground, John R. Lewis Dog Park, and Sykes Park pump track—all in one day! (Or over a couple of days, if you’re not up to the one-day mega-challenge of thrilling and delighting your kids until they get cranky, start fighting and pass out during dinner.)
Browse and filter the listings below to find the District’s best kid-friendly attractions, activities, and shops, as well as every restaurant with crayons behind the hostess stand (and some without, but the food is so good, they won’t mind).
