New & Now Open

The District's newest hotels, the adjoined Tru by Hilton Atlanta Airport College Park and Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta Airport College Park, opened their doors in September of 2023, adding a combined 253 rooms to the Gateway Center Campus. Both are a short walk from the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) and neighboring Gateway Center Arena and accessible from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport by a free, 2-minute ride from baggage claim on the ATL SkyTrain.

 

Dining & Entertainment

Atlanta Printmaker Studio Rendering

Groups can tap into their artistic side at the Atlanta Printmaker Studio—a new and exciting venue that doubles as an eclectic art studio. The 3,000 sqft studio opened in early 2023 in Hapeville, a community rich in history with a thriving arts scene.

The Porsche Experience Center Atlanta opened the West Track in April 2023, featuring sections inspired by world-renowned tracks around the world, making a driving experience, ride-along, or even spectating the action from afar even more exciting. In addition to an acclaimed restaurant, private tours, track experiences, and a simulator lab - perfect for team-building - the state-of-the-art facilities offer boardrooms for meetings and unique event spaces for larger gatherings.

College Park has several new and exciting dining options, including a boutique dining kitchen, Party of 5, a Southern breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot, Buttermilk Biscuit.

Newly opened Junior's Pizza brings a slice of NYC to the District. Founded in 2017 as a monthly pop-up, the pizzeria’s Hapeville location serves delicious whole pies or by-the-slice using high-quality ingredients, perfect to grab between or after sessions.

The Hapeville Corner Tavern reopened in 2023 following a renovation. This spot in downtown Hapeville is the perfect gathering place for classic tavern fare. Groups can grab a drink while shooting pool or head outside to the bocce courts for some friendly competition.

Groups can enjoy an off-site outing or event at the District’s upscale beer bar—Brass Tap Hapeville—which features 60 craft beers on tap, including 200+ imports and local craft beers.

Groups can get their brunch at The Breakfast Boys right on Main Street in College Park. Serving brunch all day, this eatery features an eclectic vibe you won’t find anywhere else and offers private dining for up to 65.


Your group is in for big laughs and good times at the Original Uptown Comedy Corner. The venue has been the place for live urban comedy in Atlanta and the country for many years. Some of the biggest names in entertainment have graced its stage, including Kevin Hart, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Steve Harvey and more. You never know who may drop in when you attend, too!


Integrate health and wellness into your meeting or event in the ATL Airport District at The Wellness Spot. The venue space is available to rent out for group wellness activities—making for an ideal off-site outing and attendee experience.

Hilton hotelRecently renovated in January 2022, the Hilton Atlanta Airport features a new lobby and on-site restaurants for groups to rejuvenate after a day of meetings.

Next Up - Projects In the Works

Transportation/Getting AroundGateway Ped Bridge

Big things are coming to the District in the second quarter of 2024, especially when it comes to elevating the connectivity and convenience of meeting at the GICC. The new Gateway Pedestrian Bridge and Trail Project is set to connect the Gateway Center Campus to Downtown College Park, making it easy for attendees to get to and from more meeting hotels, restaurants and entertainment spots.
