Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport boasts some pretty impressive restaurants, including the James Beard Award-nominated One Flew South and Ludacris’ recently opened Chicken + Beer.
But the restaurants around the airport — in what’s known as the ATL Airport District in College Park, East Point and Union City — are just as impressive, and offering an incentive for food lovers to check them out.
Eateries participating in ATL Airport District’s Restaurant Week, which runs from Saturday, March 18 to Sunday, March 26, will features pre fixe menus for $9, $19 or $29 or 20 percent off their signature dishes. Prices are per person and exclude alcohol, tax and gratuity.
The 16 participating restaurants include Brake Pad in College Park, which is offering a half rack of ribs with fries and cole slaw for $9; Malone’s Steak & Seafood in East Point which if offering 20 percent off its full lunch and dinner menu; and The Corner Grille in College Park, which is offering a $19 pre fixe menu for lunch with a crabcake and choice of sorbet or beignets.
